Today we celebrate one of the best in the state, UIL State Pole Vault Champion Ben Haywood!

Ben continues to raise the bar for excellence, earning his first State Championship while adding to an already impressive resume as a two-time state medalist. Even more exciting? He's only a junior, and his future is incredibly bright.

At the state meet, Ben soared above the competition, winning by an incredible 1 foot, 6 inches and proving what dedication, hard work, and perseverance can accomplish.

We are so proud of Ben and all of our Wildcat athletes who commit themselves every day to being their best, whether it's on the court, field, pool, track, or in competition. Your commitment to excellence inspires our entire Wildcat community.

Keep reaching new heights, Ben. We can't wait to see what you accomplish next!
