@PEoperator Most PE’s have no idea of the mental toll of delivering the ‘synergies’. Nothing like showing up to an acquisition day 1 and delivering life changing news to folks you’ve never met before. Then having to do it over Zoom was worse.
Eric took the stage at UNC Chapel Hill to deliver a commencement speech to the next generation of Tar Heels, sharing a message for the graduates as they step into what comes next.

The NCAA is inviting feedback regarding the 5 Yr Eligibility Model that is set to be put to a vote (and likely implemented) on May 22. I still think there are a lot of unanswered questions and fallout that have not been throughly analyzed given the speed at which this has come to pass. The email to provide feedback is [email protected]. I’ve sent my two cents (ok maybe two dollars worth) and expect it will fall on deaf ears but at least I’ve got my anticipated concerns documented when they become reality.

Our soccer teams came up short in the quarterfinals yesterday. We want to thank our boys and girls soccer seniors for their efforts over the years and a tremendous career as a Spartan! Excellent season by both programs.
Like many others, been saying it for years.
Anyone who discourages your child from playing multiple sports does not have your child’s best interests in mind.
Period.
Imagine if Pat Spencer had specialized in just one sport growing up.
He likely never becomes one of the best college lacrosse players ever...
...and he probably never sniffs the NBA either.
The multi-sport paradox too many parents ignore.
"Drake Maye really impressed me by the way he played basketball..
He probably could have played basketball at North Carolina too..
I like it when players played multiple sports because to me that says something about them as a competitor" ~ Coach Saban #PMSLive
Dear young athletes- keep this photo saved to your phone and show the next person who says you have to focus on one sport in HS.
The amount of kids I’ve heard say “I can’t risk getting hurt” or “my coach won’t let me” drives me crazy.
You get one shot to be a HS athlete.

This is the story of the Man in the Red Bandana...
A former lacrosse player at Boston College, Welles Crowther worked in the South Tower of the World Trade Center and is remembered today for his heroic actions during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
On the day of the attacks, Crowther (who had experience as a volunteer firefighter) encountered multiple groups of survivors inside the Twin Towers and led them to safety, according to firsthand reports.
Crowther ultimately lost his life in the Twin Towers, but a New York Times article mentioning “a man in a red bandana” helped bring his story to light. Crowther always wore a red bandana under his lacrosse helmet. While rescuing victims inside the burning buildings on 9/11, he wore that signature bandana over his face to protect from the smoke.
Crowther's red bandana has since become a symbol of his sacrifice, for which we honor him every anniversary of the tragic attacks.
Please take some time today to reflect on Crowther’s heroic actions and the impact his story has on our country, as well as the game of lacrosse 🙏🥍
