Dear JL,

Sweetheart, there's something beautiful about a tree in full bloom. We admire its blossoms and how gracefully it stands, yet rarely think about the roots quietly growing beneath the earth.

And perhaps life is much the same.

The most important parts of our growth aren't always the ones the world gets to see.

You know, JL, I'm genuinely happy whenever your talents receive recognition. Every new opportunity, every person discovering your voice, and every achievement deserves to be celebrated.
