Carney’s office announced it like a win.
On March 2 the PMO unveiled up to $25 million in scholarships for more than 220 Indian students, plus 300 funded research spots at the University of Toronto.
The first version of the release said $100 million, “fully funded.” It had to be corrected.
Thirteen new agreements between Canadian and Indian schools came with it, plus three new study sites in India.
The money is the University of Toronto’s.
The press release was the Prime Minister’s.
A man in FDNY ceremonial dress just said what half of New York is thinking.

“Go back to Palestine and take Obama and Mamdani with you.”
On the day we bury 2,977 names again, that’s the raw nerve.
This city lost 343 firefighters. They don’t want a lecture. They want respect.
Eby and Dix have tasked a former marine biologist—who has zero finance or accounting experience, and only two weeks on the job—with fixing their $1.5 billion accounting error. That's just cruel.
Troubling to hear that the federal Liberal government is preparing to hand over the iconic Hatley Castle, a recognized National Historic Site of Canada, and the surrounding 565 acres to the Songhees First Nation without serious public consultation or debate.
Directly jeopardizing long-standing public access to this renowned park and Greater Victoria landmark, and stripping away land that has, for generations, belonged equally to every Canadian.
Also concerning is the fact that the land in question was actually already surrendered as part of a treaty signed more than 175 years ago in 1850.
Instead of giving away parks, national historic sites and treasured Canadian landmarks, a Conservative government will preserve public access and shared ownership of these beloved places for all Canadians and for generations to come – irrespective of ancestry or race.
Anti masculinity cuck @theJagmeetSingh took full advantage of a bunch of low IQ and unhinged Socialists otherwise known as the @NDP to secure a $2M pension and denied Canada the election it needed to topple the Liberals when it mattered most. Jagmeet Singh never worked for us, he worked for himself by duping the dumbest party in Canadian political history.
The BC NDP - based on zero legal obligation is transferring Hatley Park from the public, to a 600-member First Nation that already has a settled treaty. Royal Roads U has been leasing Hatley Castle from the federal gov for $1/yr for decades.
The First Nation plans to sell the castle & a portion of the lands that it just obtained *for free* back to taxpayer-subsidized Royal Roads for millions of dollars…

No Surprise Here.
British Columbians are not ok with the NDP’s secretive, misleading, and divisive reconciliation policies over the past 9 long years.
My private member’s bill introduced at the legislature: Aboriginal Title Transparency Act, will give the public full transparency into the scale of what’s actually going on in BC.
If the NDP doesn’t fully support this legislation, it will be clear to British Columbians that they have no interest whatsoever in anything other than a continuation of their secretive agenda.
The NDP have entirely done this to themselves, and the public is fed up.

10% of BC Could Be OFF-LIMITS! This Is The BIGGEST Public Land Transfer IN MODERN CANADIAN HISTORY!!
If you thought the Cowichan Nation’s claim on prime Richmond real estate was concerning, wait until you see what’s happening now.
An internal B.C. document reveals David Eby’s NDP government is advancing the largest public land transfer in modern Canadian history, including iconic landmarks and downtown Victoria real estate.
Commitments already exceed 334,000 acres, with potential deals reaching millions of hectares (roughly 10% of the province).
Hatley Castle and multi-million-dollar downtown parking lots near the Legislature are among the parcels headed to the Songhees Nation as treaty lands.
Once transferred, public access may be limited or eliminated, and local bylaws no longer apply.
In this video Dan Dicks of Press For Truth breaks down how this is being framed as reconciliation, when in reality it’s a major transfer of public Crown land out of democratic control.
Watch the full report for the details and sources.
And please share this video far and wide if you believe Canadians deserve transparency on these deals!!
To the Liberal government:
You brought them in.
You expanded student and temporary visas with almost no meaningful vetting.
You turned Canada into a soft target for organized crime networks that used those exact pathways to plant foot soldiers here.
Now when police and the CBSA finally arrest them — dozens linked to extortion, violence, and gangs like Bishnoi — what happens? Some of them simply claim refugee status. Just like that. The deportation process grinds to a halt while the Immigration and Refugee Board processes the claim. In one documented case, 15 extortion suspects did exactly this the moment immigration enforcement started looking at them. Instant delay. More time on Canadian streets. Taxpayer-funded process.
This isn’t a glitch. This is the system you built and continue to defend.
You let the numbers explode.
You ignored RCMP and intelligence warnings.
You created a catch-and-release culture for foreign criminals that treats deportation as optional and asylum as a get-out-of-jail-free card.
How many more have to get arrested before you stop pretending this is someone else’s fault?
How many communities have to live with the consequences of your failed screening and weak enforcement?
You opened the door.
You refused to control who walked through it.
And when the criminals get caught, you still give them an off-ramp.
Canadians are done with the excuses. Arrest them. Detain them. Deport them. Stop letting them game the system you designed.
Enough.

"For a small amount of perspective at this moment, imagine you were born in 1900…
Then on your 14th birthday, World War I starts, and ends on your 18th birthday. 22 million people perish in that war, including many of your friends who volunteered to defend freedom in Europe.
Later in the year, a Spanish Flu epidemic hits the planet and runs until your 20th birthday. 50 million people die from it in those two years. Yes, 50 million.
On your 29th birthday, the Great Depression begins. Unemployment hits 25%, the World GDP drops 27%. That runs until you are 38. The country nearly collapses along with the world economy. If you were lucky, you had a job that paid $300 a year, a dollar a day.
When you turn 39, World War II starts. You aren't even over the hill yet, but don't try to catch your breath. If you lived in London, England, or most of continental Europe, bombing of your neighborhood, or invasion of your country by foreign soldiers along with their tank and artillery was a daily event. Between your 39th and 45th birthday, 75 million people perish in the war.
At 50, the Korean War starts. 5 million perish. At 55, the Vietnam War begins and doesn't end for 20 years. Millions of people perish in that conflict.
On your 62nd birthday, there is the Cuban Missile Crisis, a tipping point in the Cold War. Life on our planet, as we know it, could have ended. Sensible leaders prevented that from happening.
In 2020, we have the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands have died; it feels pretty dangerous; and it is.
Now think of everyone on the planet born in 1900. How do you think they survived all of the above? When you were a kid in 1965, you didn't think your 65-year-old grandparents understood how hard school was, and how mean that kid in your class was. Yet they survived through everything listed above.
Perspective is an amazing art. Refined as time goes on, and very enlightening. So, let's try and keep things in perspective. Let's be smart, we are all in this together. Let's help each other out, and we will get through all of this.”
