Alan Rickman passed away OTD in 2016.
Alan was one of the finest actors of his generation, blessed with a silky, mellifluous voice he could weave magic into any role. He could make you laugh, break your heart and have you rooting for the villain. Alan was a master and we miss him
Take thirty seconds and watch Europa and Io serenely sail by, massive Jupiter their background.

We are thrilled to share that last night, Wednesday 20th November, Waverley was honoured at the National Historic Ships UK Awards 2024, receiving recognition as the National Flagship of the Year.
Back in April this year it was announced that Waverley was awarded the prestigious status of National Flagship of the Year by National Historic Ships UK celebrating the incredible reach of Waverley’s operation, showcasing the extensive and ambitious sailing programme that was planned in 2024.
A total of 67 ports and piers featured in this year's timetable, made possible by a strategic marketing campaign and exceptional engagement across leading social media platforms.
Throughout the 2024 season, Waverley proudly flew a unique Flagship Pennant, symbolising her national status, and was presented with a beautifully engraved brass plaque to commemorate this accolade.
In the video below, our team reflects on the significance of this award and the effort behind achieving such a remarkable milestone.
