My family put together a #PorchConcert for my brother in law’s 40th birthday in Georgetown. Maintained social distancing of course 😀 #MusiConnectsUs #cgcats

I have several favorite podcasts. After Sectionals (teaching band stuff) https://t.co/21lCm2HY7j, Crossing the Break (clarinet) https://t.co/pxnViAYBjU, and for fun The Holderness family https://t.co/nDLVQtlAui #CSISD12

People who have been influential to me - Dr Gary Garner: my college band director who taught me about teaching, and my dad who taught me about hard work and integrity. #CSISD12

For my ROK I gave a poinsettia plant to an employee on another campus who’s retiring today. She had no idea I was dropping by to see her either! #ROK #CSISD12

I greet my kids everyday with a fist bump and a smile. Doing this from the first day helped me learn names so much faster this year. #CSISD12

My favorite chrome app is google slides. I use it daily for announcements, bell work, presentations, etc. #CSISD12

My favorite quote today is from Buddy the Elf: “I like to smile - smiling’s my favorite.” Smile at your students when you greet them or see them in the hall. Might be the only smile they see all day. #CSISD12 #cg_cats

I created an assignment for kids to play and record a song for our concert next week. I love this tool for assessment! @Schoology #CSISD12 #cg_cats
