Hands up who's looking forward to the Festival of Brexit...
Maybe it's just me, but celebrating a divisive act that has turned into an ongoing monumental shit-show seems poor use of money at present...

I wonder if the way to attack this politically is to stop associating the chaos with Brexit as a concept, which gives government political cover - will of the people etc. Just say it’s a catastrophic failure of trade policy for which Johnson and Gove are personally responsible.
"Brexit red tape chaos triggers collapse in trade going through Channel Tunnel
Freight traffic was down 38% in January compared with December"
This highlights the Tory hypocrisy of using a lack of queues as evidence of Brexit success. https://t.co/36eqG4gR7X
It’s clear that the Tories’ decision to choose a hard Brexit is too damaging
It’s causing chaos to exporting businesses
And risking the peace in Northern Ireland
This is why @TheGreenParty is calling for a return to the customs union

See bit I’ve circled in red. Boris Johnson claims pandemic response was “sluggish” and it’s PHE’s fault.
What a coward. He himself skipped 5 Cobra meetings, confused public by discussing taking it “on the chin”, and was personally resistant to lockdown until late in the game.
Whilst we are fully focused on COVID some bad stuff sneaks In. Yesterday’s Rejection of amendment to protect food standards in agri bill is really bad and dangerous. Have we learnt nothing? Pandemics come from poor farming conditions and pillage of wildlife.
