Yesterday I was sitting by the pool at the gym. There were few Muslim women in hijab and full Islamic dress.

Of course they weren't there to swim, they had come with their children, some with their husbands.

You can't help but notice how the men swim with the infidel women while the wife sits there in the sun, fully dressed.

One woman first loosened her hijab a little to let the air in, then pulled it back a bit, until it ended up on her neck, then she'd pull it back up.

You feel like she wants to burn that rag but just can't.

This reminded me of my mom. She never took the hijab off in her life, except one day. We went out as a family, but my dad made sure we were far from anyone who might recognize us, and he let my mom wear a skirt, without a hijab, that day.

I've never seen my mom that happy.

Hijab is not a choice, and even when a woman chooses it, she does so because she was programmed.

It is abnormal and against humanity, and what it does to a woman, and to society, goes far beyond what you'd think.

Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren

She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements.

Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service.

JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes.

The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%.

For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%.

Warren said no.

She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024.

Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year.

Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug.

510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December.

14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight.

And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms.

Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back.

40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market.

And the math ain’t mathing.

Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%.

That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.”

So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money?

Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years.

Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do.

Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.”

A win.

The amount of self-hate Americans have towards their own history is truly unreal.

They defeated slavery by fighting against their own family.
They shut Europe out of the western hemisphere so that nations wouldn't live under colonization forever.
They had the ability to stay out of world war 1 but they went and died to help Europeans.
They had the ultimate power in the nuclear bomb. They also had access to all of Europe's colonies that were in shambles. But instead they promoted freedom. They rebuilt Japan and Germany after defeating them in war. They stood down the Soviet Union, even as the world jeered them.
They sent soldiers to places like Vietnam and Afghanistan that died TRYING to create a better world (even if you disagree with those wars, the intentions were fairly good)
And they sent more missionaries to the world than maybe any other country in history. Translated more Bibles into indigenous languages than any other country in history. Ran bigger charities than any other country in history. Created more Christian resources than any other country in history.

Whether it was stopping the Dutch from reconquering Indonesia to the Berlin Airlift to giving Cuba its freedom in the Spanish-American war to saving China from the Japanese America has at least ATTEMPTED to do good with its power.

Yes yes, America has problems. People are imperfect. But goodness gracious does the world have a lot to be grateful for in America. And when we could have taken SO much from the world we have often chosen not to. Rome, Britain, Mongols, Assyrians, Soviets, Chinese, no other group has ever shown the restraint America has consistently shown with such vast power at its fingertips.

We didn't even get into the GIGANTIC technological advances, consumer advances, convenient lifestyle changes America has pioneered. From electricity to space to the light bulb to the smart phone to many cures in medicine and agriculture to the airplane the world has been enormously blessed by America.

But Jesus Christ did not leave me there. Through the intercession of Saint Clare, He came for me. Not when I was clean. Not when I was holy. While I was still a mess. While I was still guilty. While I was still chained.

That is how mercy works.

Since then: repentance, humiliation, confession, tears, healing, war against sin, and joy deeper than any counterfeit pleasure I ever touched.
Let me be blunt: porn is demonic. Vanity is empty. Sexual “liberation” is often just bondage with better branding. Fame cannot love you back. Sin always overpromises and underdelivers.

Christ is better. Purity is real freedom. The Catholic Church tells the truth. The sacraments heal. The saints fight for us.

This Easter weekend has been one of the most contemplative in my life

Pondering Christ’s suffering on the cross honestly made me cry several times this week, but something about His mother being there to witness it all becomes so much more sobering as I get older. That kind of maternal grief is something that hits close to home because it reminds me of the parents and families I’ve met over the years throughout my advocacy journey.

Even though the sight was unbearable, Mary stayed by her son as a key witness to his crucifixion in an act of faithful obedience. To me, this is a reminder to all mothers and fathers out there, even as you agonizingly watch your children struggle against the evils of the world, like with gender confusion, addiction, mental or physical illness, to remain steadfast in your faith, no matter how devastating the moment is.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91:1-2

God has provided a place of comfort and refuge for us all, and we can rest assured knowing His plan never fails.

The killers were two men on a moped, one driving and one riding behind him who was the shooter. This is the MO of Venezuelan gangs, who have become notorious committing two-man armed robberies on these vehicles in New York since Joe Biden let them into the country.

They used to pull up to the sidewalk sheds in front of fancy West Village restaurants when people were doing outdoor dining because of Covid to rob the people sitting at the tables. More recently, Venezuelan gangs employ spotters on the sidewalk who for pedestrians with expensive watches and jewelry, and when they see a mark they call in a moped crew to pull up and rob the target at gunpoint and then speed away.

All of these perpetrators have been arrested multiple times for various crimes by our heroic NYPD and have been released over and over by New York’s lenient, progressive judges and prosecutors.

These criminals are all illegal aliens and subject to immediate deportation, but Governor Hochul’s sanctuary laws prohibit police from determining the immigration status of the people they arrest and bar referring these criminals to immigration enforcement for federal proceedings.

Mayor Mamdani, Governor Hochul: It is your fault this baby was killed. It is time to deploy ICE to New York with full cooperation from local authorities to get Venezuelan gangsters out of our city and out of this country.
