Oof, I was jus abt to destress out of tammy kim's article then I saw this now. Tf. Leave BTS alone. Let them rest. What is wrong with people these days?????
Korea Singers Association's chairman requested @BTS_twt to reconsider its indefinite break through an official statement, concerning about the decline of the group's Hallyu power: "Since it's not easy to expect next BTS or Beatles, I'm afraid that the Hallyu flow would be cut."
Hello, Tammy Kim. New ARMY will always be welcomed in the fandom but maybe next time you write abt them, praise BTS without dragging other groups/people. You are a very serious reporter so I guess you should be very serious as well on choosing your words carefully.
as an army, I am purely disappointed on how the "very serious reporter" used his name in her incredibly insensitive article. I felt sorry most especially to shawols :((( i know how huge deal it is for them...
@etammykim @BTS_twt@NewYorker It's very obvious that you didn't dive into any research into him and his group, or you would not use his name this casually only just to imply a certain context, to subtly plant an impression to your readers that your main subject is a somehow "special" example in the industry
she even invalidated the other grps, WHAT IS WRONG WITH U T4MMY??? how could this article passed something like... credibility check or anything u call dat???
BTS aren’t the first K-pop idols who write their own songs. Idol groups like BIGBANG, SHINee, Brown Eyed Girls and Shinhwa (just to name a few) have been doing so even before BTS' debut.

Omgaaah i dont even know what&where do u want to focus on, tammy kim??? Why mention such issues if not going to be elaborated or so? I mean, u prolly can create a nicer attack on ur paper ig???
I honestly don't understand the correlation between the LGBTQ+ community and BIGBANG's legal cases. I also believe that is pointless to talk about BIGBANG in an article focused on another idol group.

First of all, Kim Jonghyun is much more than a suicide case. If you are going to write about him, then let it be about his legacy as an artist.
It’s unnecessary to specifically correlate BTS’s UNICEF campaign to his passing.

I would like to specify that not only ARMYs were involved. The K-pop fan community has a long history of social activism. During the campaign rally in the Philippines, the youth used K-pop stars to advocate for Leni Robredo.
