Assam is conducting the 5th Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) today under ULLAS - Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakaram across 34 districts, with about 2.7 lakh learners appearing for the assessment.
An all-inclusive approach, with Volunteer Teachers from Higher Education Institutions and Teacher Education Institutes extending active support to the learners to ensure their participation in the FLNAT. Tripura has officially joined the list of Fully Literate States under the ULLAS – Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram, becoming the 4th State/UT in India to achieve this milestone after Ladakh, Mizoram and Goa.
The declaration was made by Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on 23rd June 2025 at a state-level event held at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan, Agartala, in the presence of senior dignitaries from the Government of India and the State Government.
