Secretary Duffy’s report exposes California’s reckless disregard for federal licensing rules—prioritizing political posturing over public safety. Newsom’s administration ignored DOT’s Sept 26 compliance order, upgraded Jashanpreet Singh’s CDL on Oct 15, and six days later, three lives were lost.

California’s DMV handed a license to an undocumented driver with a history of failed English tests, proving systemic failure. The SAFE Drivers Act would’ve prevented this by banning foreign-language CDL tests and revoking licenses for illegals.

Instead, Newsom’s negligence cost $40M in federal funds and innocent lives. When states defy commonsense safety rules, taxpayers pay the price in blood and wasted dollars.
