Over the past few days, Seonghyeon and HyeonBeat have continuously become targets of accusations, misinformation, and negative behavior related to album sales and Hanteo data. Despite transaction records, timestamps, and platform confirmations already being publicly provided, many speculative and misleading posts continue to spread without proper verification, attempting to invalidate Seonghyeon’s achievements. This not only harms his reputation, but also dismisses all the effort and support Seonghyeon stans have devoted throughout this comeback.

What is most disappointing is that instead of choosing to verify information objectively or communicate directly, many people chose to publicly attack, follow negative narratives, and turn Seonghyeon into a target within the fandom. These baseless accusations, manipulative posts, and collective attacks not only seriously damage Seonghyeon’s reputation, but also disregard the time, effort, and financial support that HyeonBeat has dedicated to supporting both him and CORTIS during this comeback.

CORTIS is a 5-member group. This is an undeniable fact. Yet during this time, Seonghyeon has repeatedly faced left out behavior, malicious reports, and deliberate exclusion from discussions, achievements, and content related to the group. No artist deserves to be treated this way, especially when everything is still based on unverified information.

Hopefully people will stop spreading misinformation and putting an end to behaviors that divide the fandom. Protecting Seonghyeon has never meant going against the group. On the contrary, protecting Seonghyeon’s CBar achievements is also protecting CORTIS’s overall achievements.
