In the meantime, I am just happy to organically share what we have learned here on PEI - heat pumps are saving many families hundreds of dollars a year (oil costs a fortune, as you likely know, and many families need a break and also want greener solutions) - and thanks to generous government incentives - thank you @dennyking - thousands of Islanders are getting heat pumps for free (in fact, around 7,000!).

Approx 50% of homeowners here on PEI own heat pumps - and solar on the rise, too.

So, maybe I can ask you a question.

Do you have a heat pump or are you against the very clear science and economics behind them? No rush on an answer, it is the holiday season and hope you're having a good one out in beautiful Alberta.
