@Mewgicalgurlart Fear mongering making other franchises art is crazy. If you weren’t into hoyo, you’d be complaining like the rest of us. Which is a lot of us since hoyo booths didn’t sell well this year. Last day I noticed a lot of hoyo prints leftover.

But that’s ok, because the ones that sold out were niche prints in the end since the hoyo stuff is way over saturated now. Artists who want to succeed will hopefully learn this by now.

I went to Anime Expo myself and there was nothing I felt like buying because 8/10 booths were HOYO booths. It was terrible. I spent more at the 18+ artist alley because it actually had other franchises.

There was way too much hoyo stuff, and I think it’s a real issue that needs to be addressed before you make anime cons into gacha cons.

Also some people came for gacha games, which arent considered anime to many. Except Uma. Cus game is JP
