At Bantam Pharmaceutical, we are developing novel, first-in-class small molecule oral therapeutics for difficult-to-treat hematological and solid tumors.
We’re delighted to share details of our data presented at #ASH21 on BTM-3566: https://t.co/cG6jKpIkAH
In models of #DLBCL, BTM-3566 treatment caused complete remission and resulted in complete tumor regression, with no subsequent tumor growth for the two weeks following therapy.
Later today Dr Adrian Schwarzer of @HannoverMh will present data on our lead candidate BTM-3566 at #ASH21.
Initially focused on #DLBCL, BTM-3566's unique anti-cancer MoA disrupts mitochondrial function in tumor cells to induce apoptosis (cell death).

This week in @BioCentury: Tumor kinetics modeling is informing dose and candidate selection, and identifying biomarkers. Some think it could yield better surrogates for OS. https://t.co/pohJQHkaLb
Can targeted protein degraders let drug hunters get at a whole new swath of targets? My deep dive: https://t.co/QpZyp8iBEi (image credit: Kymera Therapeutics)
"Have compound, find target(s)" method using clickable covalent probes. Among other apps, these techniques are quite valuable in connecting pharmacology to targets especially as phenotypic screening becomes more widespread. More such methods, the better

Cleverly designed affinity mass spec based search for PD-1 partners leads to identification of SLAM associated protein (SAP) as an inhibitor of PD-1 signaling through shielding of CD28 and other phosphotyrosine substrates from SHP-2 phosphatase. Nice study https://t.co/gehAOnc56O
