I’ll be thinking of Anne Widdecombe and her family today, she will be laid to rest at a private service where she used to passionately worship.
A great loss to this country. 🙏🏽
Is Zack Polanski the Jason Arday of politics? Everyone seems to have forgotten that Zack falsely claimed to have been a Red Cross ‘spokesman’ and exaggerated his hypnotherapy qualifications. He’s truly earned the nickname Walter Titty, says Malcolm Clark

I’m astonished that Sturgeon turns out to be not only a world-class misogynist, the blindest wife ever to enjoy the fruits of a fraudster husband’s theft, but also profoundly disloyal to the party and the political allies who once revered her. 🧵
Perhaps the most disturbing element in the fantasy world of (ex)-Professor Jason Arday is not his proclivity to embellish his achievements (or lack thereof) in absurd ways that were easily exposed or Cambridge University’s facile complicity in his whole scam but that a reporter at Times Higher Education, who was looking into anomalies in Mr Arday’s dodgy CV, was subjected to a four-month police investigation for allegedly harassing him. The police need to be held to account for this abuse of police power to thwart a journalist from doing his job.
Not enough prison places, hospital beds, electric, water, cops, roads, tanks, destroyers, carers for old folks...
But we're paying more tax and higher prices than ever.
Has anyone had a quick squint at the books, because I reckon someone's on the fiddle.
Nauseating hypocrisy. You and your party’s green mongering over the years have driven BP and others away. You gave virtue signalling priority over jobs, families, communities. And now you express concern for them. Pass the sick bag. Scotland is truly run by a kakistocracy. But Scots only have themselves to blame. They keep electing self-serving numpties.
I am so grateful to the Free Speech Union for wonderful support, to my brilliant solicitor Mark Lewis of Patron Law.
And to the Telegraph and its superb News team which was not intimidated by the police who threw everything at us.
@SpeechUnion
I’m happy and relieved to say I won my legal case against Essex Police and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst.
Mr Hirst has admitted liability, apologised and paid substantial damages. 1/4 https://t.co/GA3lIvaKqr
I see the tolerant,be kind brigade are out in force defending the tit whisperer.
“But he deleted it”
That’s not the rules, suckers!
I didn’t make them, you did!!!
I see that sections of the left don’t believe Zack Polanski’s shared post is a police matter because “he deleted it.”
Well Lucy Connolly (@LucyTCWife) deleted her post quickly but they still wanted her to be locked up.
The phrase “be careful what you wish for” springs to mind.
Disgusting. Two weeks after Ann Widdecombe was murdered.
If this was the other way around, every journalist, columnist, reporter and MP would be talking about “far-right extremism.”
I hope they all finally discuss far-left extremism.
Scottish public school boy/nepo baby gets ministerial job via position in House of Lords (which he once said deserved to play ‘no role in the 21st century’). Are Labour the new Tories?
Gary Lineker says he wants to pay *more* tax.
That’s funny because three years ago he took Government to court to pay *less* tax on his BBC millions.
Massive hypocrite? Surely not.
Delusional. It’s a £45 cut in the average annual household fuel bill. Offset by a £50 increase when the price cap is raised Oct 1st. So a net negative of £5. Nobody is going to move to EVs or heat pumps on that basis.
This is a shocker. A mother of three from Gaza who came to the UK as a refugee has just won a human rights challenge to bring in 18, yes18, of her relatives - both parents, a brother, his wife and four children, a sister and her four children and another sister, her husband and their three children.
None of them speak English and the mother only has room to house her parents with the rest taking up social housing away from British families.
Not to mention the the cost of the 18 filling our schools and NHS clinics.
Plus the signal it gives tens of thousands of Palestinian families that the UK courts are an easy touch and they should head here.
Another bloody awful and costly decision by our courts. Labour won’t do anything about it as they look on the people as Labour voters of the future.
Keir Starmer — ever a man of his word til the end.
In June 2023 he explicitly ruled out ever indulging in a resignation honours list (BBC Radio 4 Today).
Today he’s marked his resignation with 21 peerages, overwhelmingly public-sector/legal jobsworths. Barely a single wealth creator among them.
Classic line up of the New Establishment which has run the country under Labour and Tory governments for the past three decades and is now firmly in control. Largely (if not entirely) with the following characteristics:
*Career almost entirely in public sector, often taking salaries from several sinecures at once as they work up the greasy taxpayer-funded pole.
*Associated with various ‘right-on’ causes.
*Largely middle class, London chattering class, Oxbridge well represented (of course).
*Fashionable left but not too left. Good mainstream Labour links.
Thus is the antediluvian House of Lords perpetuated by the Left as well as the Right as a comfortable state-funded retirement home for the well-connected ‘good and great’ past their sell-by date — when it should simply be abolished.
I’m glad @ZiaYusufUK named and shamed people who have used vile rhetoric against Ann Widdecombe and Reform:
David Lammy
Wes Streeting
Jess Phillips
Ed Davey
Lisa Nandy
Lucy Powell
Tory Chairman
Keir Starmer
Putin murdered citizens. To compare Farage to him is disgusting.
