I am mesmerized by the beauty of Wanale hills in Mbale. The landscape is so diverse with farms, forests, people, settlements, schools,etc. The aerial view of Mbale city made me appreciate the importance of spatial analysis in urban planning, environment and ecosystem management

The CAADP Kampala summit 2025 happening now in Uganda. This convention aims to devise strategies for Africa's agricultural development. With a 10 year vision from 2026 to 2035 to increase food and nutrition security, enhance economic growth,and environmental sustainability

The Kampala CAADP declaration which replaced the Post Malabo CAADP declaration will guide agricultural developments and promote sustainable food systems in Africa.
