The representative of Iran’s supreme leader in Ardabil province on Friday accused the United Arab Emirates of fueling tensions across Arab and Muslim countries, claiming Israel was behind its actions.

Hassan Ameli said during Friday prayers that the UAE was "one of the world's largest buyers of weapons" and used those arms to destabilize other countries.

Ameli also accused Israel of orchestrating regional conflicts, saying the wars in Lebanon, Gaza and Yemen were aimed at weakening Muslim countries.

He described military operations in Yemen as an example of "Muslims killing Muslims," claiming Israel was seeking to pit Muslim nations against one another and destroy infrastructure across the region for its own benefit.

A National Iranian Tanker Company supertanker was seen loading about two million barrels of crude at Iran’s Kharg Island on Friday, the first such loading observed there since the end of July, according to TankerTrackers.

The vessel, a very large crude carrier, was loading at the Azarpad jetty, the tanker-tracking service said.

Iran has continued loading tankers at other terminals despite the gap in observed activity at Kharg Island, it added.

TankerTrackers said Iran’s oil production currently appears to be roughly in line with domestic refinery demand, suggesting Tehran may have limited need to export large volumes of crude for now.
