MP is Samuel Arama, perhaps the sorriest excuse for a human being. No politician in Kenya has a greater degree of contempt for citizens than this guy.

KSH 45,525,468 in claimed assets - cannot be traced since the CDF does not keep records.

KSH 81,860,221 in "projects" cannot be accounted for because the CDF cannot show actual receipts for the expenditures, anything that shows before and after pictures, or contract information.

All that is available is the claim of KSH 81,860,221 in "projects:.

KSH 51,320,597 in variance cannot be explained. In its financial statement, the CDF says that it received KSH 83,135,954 as transfers from National Government when in fact records show KSH 131,268,482 (along with another variance of KSH 3,188,069.

KSH 770,000 was paid as "committee allowances, to individuals that nobody knew about, because they were gazetted as committee members.

KSH 13,134,580 in claimed cash at the bank cannot be confirmed because the CDF cannot provide bank statements.

So when Mutahi Ngunyi compares prices across decades without adjusting for inflation, currency strength, cost of living, or global coffee prices, he’s not doing analysis he’s doing political theater.

If political scientists want to wade into economic comparisons, the least they can do is run the numbers properly.

The Ministry of Environment will support environmental restoration through tree planting and protection of land from further encroachment.

This project, a joint initiative with the national government, aims to support agro-industries, create employment, raise farmers' incomes, and improve agricultural productivity through collaboration between farmers, processors, investors, and government agencies.

The cooperative, under the Ministry of Trade, recently gave up 1,500 acres near Kanyonyoo Town for the construction of the County Aggregation and Industrial Park (CAIP).

As part of the agreement, @KituiCountyGovt and the Cooperative Society will work together to improve infrastructure on land leased to the society.
This includes constructing access roads, drilling and equipping boreholes, connecting electricity, and establishing earth dams.

He added that technology would be used to promote and sustain the Society’s activities, including value addition. The County also plans to review existing lease terms to allow the Society to expand into other ranching-related activities.

Governor Malombe noted that the County will also work with the National Police Service to set up a police post in the area to enhance security and support tourism activities aligned with the Society’s goals.

The MoU sets out a general framework for cooperation to support agriculture, trade, industrialization, tourism, mineral processing, environmental conservation, and strengthening of the cooperative movement in Kitui County.
