We stand with Hüseyin Can Güner, our Mayor of Çankaya, Ankara, the heart of our Republic, and a proud member of our Youth Wing, against his unlawful arrest.

We will continue to stand for justice, democracy, and the rule of law!

Our Vice President, Melis Asya Bozali, participated in the Young European Socialists Summer Camp in Warsaw, joining young progressive leaders from across Europe to exchange ideas, strengthen international cooperation, and discuss the future of democracy.

Together with Party of European Socialists Deputy Secretary General Thomas Vaupel, we led an interactive workshop on democratic backsliding, using examples inspired by the anti-democratic actions targeting our party, our presidential candidate, our democratically elected mayors, and the fundamental right to engage in free political activity in Türkiye. The discussion reinforced the importance of defending democracy, the rule of law, and political freedoms.

We extend our sincere thanks to @mlodalewica_ and @YESocialists for their warm hospitality and excellent organization, and for creating a valuable space for dialogue and international solidarity.
