Zelensky just hit Trump where it hurts most on The Diary of a CEO. Good timing by him.

He told the audience that the oil shock came from the U.S - Iran conflict and disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz - not from Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries.

Trump’s ratings are falling and Republicans are facing a tough midterm. This puts real pressure on the administration right now.

When political pressure rises like this, policy moves and narrative control usually follow. That can move oil and the dollar fast.
