@CityofEdmonton I don't know what was done on residential streets, but our area says its done and nothing was done, not even a grain of sand. Waste of taxpayers money and time to park elsewhere when nothing is done.

@edmontonjournal I disagree, not all people have 9-5 jobs that can access child care. Giving the money to low income earners to be able to pay for the care they need as opposed to the status quo. When you work evenings, overnight, etc. you don't have the normal daycare needs that the $10 cover

I don't think its right to have to pay taxes to support childcare for parents that want to work. People for many generations have had to make the choice whether it was worth it to work outside of the home or to raise their own children. Shouldn't be on the taxes of everyone.
