As a female, I would like to say I'm perfectly fine with LOTR having almost no female characters. The few they did have were strong and beautiful. This doesn't need to be fixed. As a matter of fact, this single scene in Return of the King was all we ever needed:
The Lord of the Rings isn’t known for flashy transitions, but the moment Gandalf breaks Saruman’s hold over Théoden followed by Saruman being cast out of him is one of the best crafted transition scenes in the entire trilogy.
what i love most about the narnia movies is how apparent the sibling bond was on screen. this will forever be one of my favorite scenes (peter hugging edmund always gets me) and it just warms my heart knowing the cast is also that close in real life… the perfect pevensies :’)
