2/2 I found this quote to be very ironic, even funny to read. For the rich to have more of a 'right' to commit suicide #hamlit

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

1/2"The more pity that great folk should have countenance in this world to drown or hang themselves more than their even Christian." #hamlit

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@LibbyCarter19 Complete absorption + being brainwashed, Hamlet is crazy but at least he recognizes that the King is manipulative #hamlit

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@arabellaberman1 Wouldn't you say that his craziness eventually extended past that, though? #hamlit

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@katemorandi99 Definitely tragic but expected, as Arabella said, it progresses the play and shines light on H's insanity #hamlit

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

#hamlit “My thoughts be bloody, or be nothing worth!” (Act 4) Hamlet's craziness is reaching a high peak at this point

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

#hamlit Does Hamlet go crazy in Act 2 or 3, or was he already delirious to begin with? Was he pretending to be crazy, or is he already?

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

#hamlit In Act 1, why do Horatio and Marcellus firmly believe that the presence of the ghost means that Denmark is in trouble?

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

#hamlit Act 3 Scene 4 I feel as though it is very easy to see how much of an angsty teen Hamlet is because of how he is yelling at his mom

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

Compare and contrast how Ethan views and speaks about Mattie v. Zeena #FalzFrome

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@cgugsluvslit to follow the quote... Ethan feels at home with nature and it plays a large role in his life- Wharton wanted to emphasize that

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@cgugsluvslit "his lungs expanding with long draughts of mountain air, that Ethan did his clearest thinking"

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

I think that Ethan and Mattie may have loved each other/Ethan was just looking for a way out of his unhealthy marriage
opinons?
#FalzFrome

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@katemorandi99 they way he treated Marrie and spoke about her made it seem like true love but he's married so it's not right

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@ConnerCReed @LibbyCarter19 Her reason for asking wasn't metaphorical, she wanted a literal fence. I doubt she wanted a 'fence' between them

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

#falzfences fence represents a barrier between Rose+Troy's relationship. materialistically built while troy is also building it by cheating

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@Drm2999 #falzfences family ideals and family structure are definitely challenged by Troy's affair+ Rose not taking Troy's disrespect

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@jose_velazquez #falzfences I think he would but Rose would need to convince him.He would be resistant + disrespectful the whole time though

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

@ConnerCReed because she felt as if the child shouldn't have to suffer. She spent 18 years with him and would have felt lost if she left

[Barbara Mello @barbara_mell0]

#falzfences is Rose a strong female character or a weak one? why?
