All too often, our ex service dogs are retired and go silently into the night. No pension, no leaving party, no gift, no thank u. So many dogs' stories get lost amongst the world
11 year old Mya served 6 years between Nottingham police and hmps prison service and finally got to hang up her lead and retire to her family and old friend who cared for her when she was readying for her life in the Police. Some aren't so fortunate to go to familes that want to share their stories or celebrate their lives
She has her aches and a creaks like all us vetrans do and nor lives with her hoomans and baby ex pd bro who eventually became great pals, believe me it can take some time for these guys to warm to others, we do all like to be the centre of attention 😆🤦♀️😬
Thank you so much, Mya, for all your hard work, and may you have a long happy retirement ❤️❤️❤️ thank you to her family for opening their home to you and giving u a safe happy ever after

🇬🇧Today marks the 81st anniversary of D-Day — a defining moment in history when courage, sacrifice, and unity stood tall against tyranny.
It’s so important to remember the brave individuals who gave everything — storming the beaches, supporting the front lines, and standing shoulder to shoulder in the fight for freedom.
Their strength paved the way for the life we’re able to live today. We owe them more than words — we owe them remembrance, respect, and gratitude that never fades.
Now, more than ever, it’s vital that we continue to remember. To honour their legacy, to protect the freedoms they fought for, and to ensure their stories are never forgotten.
This isn’t just about the past — it’s about the future. It’s essential that our children, and our children’s children, understand the significance of this day. D-Day should be a major occasion in our schools and across the nation. Their courage shaped the world — it’s our duty to keep that memory alive.
We remember. Always. 🫡🇬🇧
MORNING FAMILY 🐾❤️
Bravery, most think of heroic acts, running into a burning building or standing fast in a war or conflict. Bravery is so much more
To some, ur brave action this morning was getting up, stepping outside, & breathing
The quality or state of having or showing mental or moral strength to face danger, fear, or difficulty : the quality or state of being brave : courage showing bravery under fire. Your under fire, ur enemy could even be your own heart and mind
Bravery is showing up.
Bravery is saying what you believe in. Out loud. To the people who need to hear it. Even if that person is you.
It's having honest communication with yourself, your teams, your communities, your families
Bravery is saying no when you know you need to. It's saying no to the wrong things so that you can say yes to the right things.
Bravery is having the courage to quit when you know you're on the wrong track, even if hundreds of thousands of people are headed in one direction. It's knowing when the path you are on isn't the one for you. It's taking that scary leap, swimming upstream, or wandering down unfamiliar trails.
Bravery isn’t always fun, macho, or full of gusto. It’s not always done in one big sweep
Bravery is saying something different and showing empathy for our people around the world. It's not jumping to conclusions too quickly. It's remembering what we stand for and believing in the best of us.
Sometimes bravery is remarkable, unfathomable courage by the youngest and oldest of human souls who rush forward to help everyone and put their lives on the line to save others. Those who will speak out when others strength wavers even if they will then take the fall
Sometimes, it looks quite peaceful. Sometimes, it's shaking off the noise and clamour and distraction and realising with simple focus that your next steps require you to take those steps and walking forward is the best and happiest way forward.

I may be ‘leading’ a group of 10 to Everest Base Camp but the first thing on my mind when I wake is ‘leading’ London to a safer a more secure capital where people can wake up early and feel a vibrant and energetic London once again! 🫡🇬🇧
On Easter Sunday we were sure to touch base with our families to wish them a happy Easter, exchange photos of our kids doing Easter egg hunts and share a lunch together as we acclimatise at Hotel Everest View…
I’ve got the privilege to lead 10 amazing individuals to Everest Base Camp and I’ll ensure that this trip changes their view on adventure and themselves…
Deboche here we come! #HappyEaster
Using the @BritishArmy to clean up the rubbish in Birmingham would be the biggest insult in moderntimes to our armed forces. Degrading them in such a manner is a clear sign and confirmation of @UKLabour damaging agenda and for what’s to come. Anyone in the Birmingham area, close by, photos and video would be much appreciated if our armed forces are used…
I see a lot of posts about young white women feeling unsafe in bigger cities especially London.
Being stared inappropriately at on the tube or the DLR, even sat next to when there's lots of space elsewhere .
I asked a young friend who goes to London a lot . She says it's definitely real. She says it's foreign men, sometimes they mutter in foreign languages, or try to use their phones to take unsolicited photos
She said she now never wears a skirt until she's got to get destination, often wears a hoodie to cover her long blond hair. She strikes up conversation with other women, complete strangers , who are willing to listen as they've had the same issues themselves.
I wondered if it is a thing?
