Be Aware! Vote NO on Platform Plank 283 concerning Israel.

The term "antisemitism" has become weaponized to silence political dissent, delegitimize criticism of Israel, and curtail free speech. The 2024 platform did not include the term "antisemitism", and there was widespread agreement on the committee to NOT include it.

The language in 283 is redundant with the language in 282, which already states "We strongly condemn the violence, harassment and hatred directed toward Jews and Israel worldwide".

The platform committee struggled to debate the issue of how best to support Israel thoroughly at the time, and there was not enough opportunity for public testimony. The committee process may not have been properly followed at the time when the plank 283 language was inserted.

A resolution on the Iran War should be put before the entire convention for YOU the delegates to vote on, but too many committee members did not have the courage to pass one.

Vote NO on 283 (unless it is perhaps amended accordingly to remove the first two sentences of the plank).

The RPT has now passed its Don't Sharia Our Texas priority. In it, we begin by saying: "Texas government must stop Sharia Law by declaring that Sharia law is an incompatible, seditious, subversive, competing enemy of the Texas and U.S. Constitutions, and that its advocacy or implementation is a seditious criminal act, worthy of criminal punishment, disqualification for public, military, and law enforcement service, denaturalization, and, deportment."

Item 5 says in part: "Enforce and Expand Our Laws: Enforce Texas sedition law against advocacy of Sharia law, and rigorously enforce other Texas law that criminalizes aspects of Sharia law such as terroristic threat, female genital mutilation, animal cruelty, domestic violence, rape, polygamy, and pedophilia. Modify existing statutes to explicitly reference Sharia inclusion. Expand the jurisdiction of the OAG to prosecute such law."

It is time to start contacting our Texas District Attorneys to find ones with the courage to enforce practitioners of Sharia with sedition or under other criminal statutes. The Tarrant County DA is @PhilSorrellsTX .

Note the priority call for also delegating prosecutorial powers for the listed crimes to the OAG. @mayes_middleton has said that he wants to prosecute Sharia using Texas sedition law, but he doesn't have the delegated power, yet. Sitting DAs do.

The current Texas sedition statute (a felony) is:

Sec. 557.001. SEDITION. (a) A person commits an offense if the person knowingly:

(1) commits, attempts to commit, or conspires with one or more persons to commit an act intended to overthrow, destabilize, destroy, or alter the constitutional form of government of this state or of any political subdivision of this state by force, violence, or a threat of force or violence;
(2) under circumstances that constitute a clear and present danger to the security of this state or a political subdivision of this state, advocates, advises, or teaches or conspires with one or more persons to advocate, advise, or teach a person to commit or attempt to commit an act described in Subdivision (1); or,
(3) participates, with knowledge of the nature of the organization, in the management of an organization that engages in or attempts to engage in an act intended to overthrow, destabilize, destroy, or alter the constitutional form of government of this state or of any political subdivision of this state by force or violence.

The statute also says that a conspiracy to commit sedition is also an offense.

The first case to be prosecuted needs to be picked carefully to make sure there is evidence of element of the intent to use "force or violence."

I spent the weekend at the San Antonio Riverwalk for the first time since I proposed to my wife, almost 8 years ago. Here’s the results 👇

What I saw was a grotesque, culturally homogeneous invasion of streetshitters. I could probably count with one hand the amount of Americans, and two were homeless sleeping on a stone bench.

I felt unrepresented in my own home state. There is no longer the “replacement theory”, it’s moved to a full on “replacement mission”

Indians were haggling with the boat drivers like they control the prices. Indians leaving $0 tip on a $150 family dinner after sending the food back because it had beef sauce. Turbans stuck out of the riverboat ferries and the stone bridges like whack-a-mole, and I wish they rented mallets. At one point there was somebody fishing under Selena’s bridge.

We spent <2 hours walking and just left, nothing was enjoyable. There wasn’t even any cultural Mexicans in their Huipils, no shawls, no sombreros. Just turbans and Sarees, and red dots eye level as far as I could stomach to look.

The big cities fall first in wartime, as the plague ravages through the smaller communities next who are usually oblivious to outside events.

I was so shocked and appalled I didn’t even think to take a video for myself, so this is just a random TikTok I found but that also reinforces the narrative that it wasn’t a “one time thing”
