My mom used to ask me, “How boring would it be if we all looked alike, ate the same food every day and dressed the same?” Ugh! Humans have sought spice, tastes, and variety since the dawn of time. Why can’t we all appreciate each other?
@Bancheis@mattvanswol My family’s house 🏠 or my kids stability or their mom being present to chase money. So I let it go. ISpot- geoTracking for pets-me. DAC SYN Jet Fuel- me. See wa state announcement. Pfft. You don’t know who you are talking to.
@Palovan@truth_seeker108@mattvanswol Well, no, I can’t- does that make you feel better now? But, if we’re playing hypothetical- can I start by being a young white man, with a million dad, and have my brain 🧠? Cause, bet- I think I could give him a run for his money- but I’d never amass the wealth.
@aimz1010@SingingPig2850@mattvanswol That wasn’t the question- but yes, better- but we’d be even better if Teslas were more affordable, but hey, then maybe he wouldn’t be a Trillionaire, etc.
@SingingPig2850@mattvanswol Tesla was SOMEONE else idea- and about to fail when Bush put EV tax credits in place- that started ball rolling Biden expanded and Trump ended. And, he’s not the engineer who was responsible.
@truth_seeker108@mattvanswol I don’t want too. I mean that. I love what I do and I’m happy. And I don’t fault him- the question was is he unique? No, others could - NOT ALL - but some could. He’s had a LOT of breaks.
@Vets4AP@mattvanswol Bully for him! I’m not competing with him- so why are you challenging me? The question was is he special? I said no, and everyone freaked out geez, I guess he’s your hero.
@DaHighHunter@mattvanswol He’s devious. And evil. It’s easy to amass wealth if you harm humanity. He sucks on the teet of American 🇺🇸 Contracts and steals others brilliance. He hasn’t had an original idea of his own besides the sink. And that still was stupid.
@JoeArno81788849@mattvanswol Good question- it starts with coming from power and money, and yes- PayPal - great idea- bought out partners- invested up- bought Tesla- someone else’s business- paid smart people to revamp. Yup, many could do.
We just raised the Pride flag in Olympia.
I want Washingtonians to know that there is zero chance we would ever bend the knee to the hate and attacks we see from Washington DC. You have my word on that.
@stopvaccinating You’re not right. This is falsehoods. And I will leave you with some reading about a REAL HERO Jonas Salk. Who saved the world 🌎 from a time of tiny coffins ⚰️ daily. https://t.co/YV5dpCOw8v
12-year-old Xavier Taylor from Maple Shade, NJ, remains in extremely critical condition on a ventilator after a heartbreaking freak accident on May 26. ⚾💔
While warming up before a youth baseball game at Fellowship Columbia Bank Field, Xavier — a passionate pitcher/shortstop who lives for the game — was walking back to the dugout when an errant throw from a teammate struck him in the neck. He collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. His dad (a retired firefighter) rushed to him, and Xavier was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital.
His father, Greg Taylor, has stressed it was a complete **freak accident with no one to blame**. Xavier, known for writing Bible verses on his hats and playing on multiple teams, is fighting hard. The family is holding onto faith and miracles.
The community has rallied with prayer vigils, “Bats Out for X,” #6 shirts, and massive support. Videos of the vigils, father’s emotional updates, and local news coverage are circulating widely on TikTok — search #XavierStrong for raw community moments.
**A prayer shared for Xavier & his family:**
“Heavenly Father, we lift up Xavier Taylor to You. You know every detail of his life. Before he needed a miracle, he followed You, prayed to You, and wore Your Scriptures. Surround his family with peace. Lord, we ask for a miracle. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” 🙏
Prayers up for full recovery, strength for the Taylors, and the whole Maple Shade baseball family. He will play again.

As we start our celebration of Pride Month, I'm excited to see our strong ranking and positive movement up the list in the annual LGBTQ+ Business Climate Index from Out Leadership.
Times like this, with outrageous attacks coming from the federal government, are when our commitment is tested. We're going to continue to lean into our values of inclusion for all of the people of our state.
From the report: "Washington is frequently referred to as one of the United States’ most LGBT-friendly states, and its largest city, Seattle, has a thriving LGBTQ+ community, ranked as the fifth largest in the country."
Today, I signed an executive order to support women in the workplace who experience perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
This will ensure my cabinet agencies have appropriate measures in place to support state employees experiencing menopause symptoms.
As Governor, my administration will be a place where workers can serve the people of Washington and know they'll be supported. We'll share this expertise and guidance with employers all across our state.
We believe this is one of the most comprehensive single pieces of policy put forward to date combining worker protections with increasing health profession education on perimenopause and menopause.
