@liberal_party We all know the ultra-wealthy don't have to sell off their assets to survive so it won't affect them at all.
It is the hardworking middle class Canadian that invested in a business or second property or were left something they are the ones that have to sell to survive.
This isn’t my Canada -they don’t represent in any manner our prior values or core beliefs .
What is the answer ?
Why are they actually here?
What are their real intentions ?
@WeAreCanProud New buzzwords they care about Canada and Canadians If that was true they won't be giving subsidies to hire immigrants over Canadians, they won't be giving immigrants hotel rooms over Canadians homeless, they won't be bringing mass immigration straining or health care, housing etc
@beynate@surveilz @Umbradog The point is Nate, you guys keep saying it will affect the wealthy when in realty it hits the average middle class Canadians more then anyone.
@MuhlbeierRobert@TorontoStar I don't know about the polls Robert, but I do know about
myself and friends and family they won't be going Liberal this time around.
@JD_2008_2023@pearlk60@liberal_party Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland recognize Yaroslav Hunka, who was in attendance, in the House of Commons in Ottawa on Friday, September 22, 2023.
@Umbradog @barbie60144@beynate It turns out StatsCan did do a comprehensive study on vacation home owners and their incomes at one point. No millionaires in sight https://t.co/tTK6dvsAeB
This reminds of the Liberals and their plastic ban one full decade after the University of California showed it's pointless
@beynate@surveilz Please explain if it is so straight forward, and what if they have to sell it because they can't afford the property taxes or upkeep. It works great for the wealthy because they don't have to sell off anything to live.
