I want to remind every leader stepping into public service today…

It is God who positions people.
No one rises by mistake.

The leaders we vote for, the ministers, the members of parliament, the people entrusted to speak for communities and bring change ,these positions are not just titles. They are responsibilities given under the watch of God.

Many leaders stand with their hands on the Bible and swear to serve the people. But somewhere along the way, some forget why they were placed there in the first place.

Leadership is not about taking from the country.

It is about serving the people honestly, humbly, and faithfully.

Uganda does not lack resources.
What we are lacking is leadership with integrity, compassion, accountability, and the fear of God.

So today, I pray for every new leader coming into office.

May they remember that it is God who allowed them to reach those positions.

May they lead with wisdom.
May they lead with humility.
May they reject corruption, greed, and selfishness.

And may they never forget the people who trusted them with their votes, their hopes, and their future.

We have prayed for change in this country.
We have prayed for honest leaders.

And now we pray that those entering office will become the answer to those prayers, not another disappointment.

May God guide Uganda’s leaders and heal our nation. 🇺🇬
