My sincere thanks to Peter Murrell for pleading guilty and saving me from having to listen to any more tedious Celtic fans this week. https://t.co/huBeGsNxMX
This article’s a terrific summary of the entire murky Murrell case (there’s more than a dozen reference links alone, for anyone new to the story), which ends with a brave honesty that you only get from Stu

The SNP leader lied to you.
The SNP treasurer lied to you.
The SNP president lied to you.
The SNP's MPs lied to you.
The Unionist media lied to you.
The pro-independence media lied to you.
Only Wings told you the truth.
Same as it ever was.

Along with the First Minister of Amnesia (Sturgeon) this character actively blocked the release of accounts and invoices to the then elected SNP Treasurer @DougChapmanSCO
Murrell may now be "twiddling his thumbs" in prison, but the toxic leadership remains in place.
The pot of money Peter Murrell pilfered from was NOT comprised solely of SNP members' money. It came from three chief sources.
(1) SNP members - subs, donations etc.
(2) UK taxpayers, the vast bulk of the SNP's income.
(3) Non-SNP donors to the "ringfenced indyref fund".
All of that money was swept into the SNP coffers, from whence Murrell trousered it. Every pound he took came in part from each of those sources. So in fact he robbed ALL of us, not just SNP members.
The fact that the party has spent the *entirety* of the "ringfenced" indyref fund, on stuff that is not a second indyref, is an entirely separate issue over and above Murrell's crimes.

"I know this is second hand but I heard this from a source close to the police who told me that if one spouse was involved in fraud or embezzlement in an enterprise which the other spouse was also involved in and they are living in the same household, it would be routine to charge both. Most people notice £400k in their bank account that shouldn’t be there, or a house full of stolen goods, or a new Jaguar"

Now @BBCNews reporting that the UK could run out of aviation fuel if supplies via the Strait of Hormuz are not resumed. Grangemouth refined NS oil to create aviation fuel for Scotland, but the Brits closed the facility losing 100’s of Scottish jobs in the process #WeSeeYou
NEW: Ahead of the hearing next week of For Women Scotland's challenge to the Scottish Government's transgender prison policy, we have put together a detailed timeline of the policy's development and known relevant cases, for background and reference. https://t.co/6EqaW32fn3
.@grok Sandie Peggie just got a 312-page tribunal judgment that contains a completely invented quote from Maya Forstater’s own case, misrepresents the Supreme Court’s For Women Scotland ruling, and many believe was partly written by AI that hallucinated case law.
If these errors (especially undisclosed AI hallucinations) are proven, what are the realistic consequences for the judgment itself?
Can it survive appeal? Could it be declared a nullity? Could the judge face sanctions?
Walk us through it step by step, no fluff. I want to know how bad this really is.
15 surprising things about the Peggie v NHS Fife ET judgment - a thread 🧵
1. Top of the pops has to be mis/partial quoting of the Supreme Court judgment in a way that badly misrepresents what it said.
