Culé putting my Barça opinions on record. Match reactions, strong takes and plenty to say about our rivals. I love this club, but I’ll always say what I see.
I love Barça enough to lose my head during the match and still tell you honestly what I saw afterwards.
Expect live reactions, proper football arguments and rivals getting exactly the respect they deserve.
Culés, follow along. Let's have some good banter here 💙❤️
@NealGardner_ There is a video where we can clearly see he was going with the squad to the fans, but someone from the staff pulled him and asked him not to (for whatever reasons).
Barça have sold La Masia players who wanted to make it here before:
Bojan → Roma (2011)
J. dos Santos → Villarreal (2014)
Pedro → Chelsea (2015)
Bartra → Dortmund (2016)
Carles Pérez → Roma (2020)
Rafinha → PSG (2020)
Aleñá → Getafe (2021)
It will happen again. These are just facts beyond the whole debate Cules are having now around Balde.
That's why I said I can't blame them. Barça could have deal with the club directly, got an answer, and acted on that answer, regardless. Release clauses there to protect clubs in these scenarios, but we know deals can be done differently if both clubs sit and negotiate.
But I agree with you, if he wasn't sure about the project at Atleti, he shouldn't have signed on conditions he wouldn't necessarily commit to. His agent is definitely not the right guy for him.
Leaving Balde, Casadó and Fort out may show where the squad is heading. It says little about their quality.
Selection decisions are part of football; turning every absence into a character verdict is lazy. Let the club resolve the window without rewriting their time at Barça.
@ArthurMelista En gros c'est ça : tu veux partir, ça sera avec nos termes et loin de l'Espagne. Mais ils ont jusqu'au 1er septembre pour se décider, sinon bonjour l'ambiance.
Regarding this whole debate around Balde and if he should be sold or not. Being La Masia product doesn't give immunity to anyone. La Masia gives Barça more than players: identity, a first-team core and transfer value. Academy graduates can be sold (and we've done so over the years). The real question around Balde is whether we are judging him correctly after almost 5 years in the 1st team.
Our idea should always be to build the spine at home, then add outsiders who genuinely want to join the story.
@BouafifNour I hear you! But that probably means they don't want Kounde out. Maybe they are getting a better $ value in the market for Balde. We should expect a lot of change before the DDL of September 1st. Let's see 👀
@Loguito6 On ne va pas les blâmer quand même. Leur joueur veut partir à l'équipe qu'ils détestent (plus que Madrid apparemment), mais ça va leur coûter un joueur qui va bouder pour un bon moment 😆
Manchester City are about to learn that Guardiola was far more than their manager. He was their footballing identity.
It's early, but I can see a painfully average season with nothing serious to win. At Barça, the idea has to outlive the coach, and that's why I never take the idea of La Masia for granted.
If City goes through an average season, their next call will be Kompany or Luis Enrique.
I don't think we can have Gavi and Balde in the same conversation, my friend. Let's agree to disagree on this one.
Gavi is so underrated by many because of the lack of asthetic in his playing style, but for me he remains so unvaluable. I can't say the same about Balde despite the fact I don't see him as a crucial exit. If a great offer comes and he wants to leave, then it is what it is.
@MahdiToure8@MercatoBlaugra Pour Inàcio? Son contrat il expire en Juin 2030. Il a prolongé en Décembre 2025. Lukeba a un contrat qui expire en 2029 et il a renouvelé en 2024.
