2020 comes to a close and while it didn’t quite play out as anyone had imagined, we saw many amazing projects begin, continue and wrap up and—in spite of everything—our city-building momentum continues apace.

Once again, my heart breaks. Not because I am Muslim, but because I am human. But as we condemn the horrific terrorist act in New Zealand, we also must commit ourselves to fighting hatred wherever we find it. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. We belong to God to him we return.
Today, after 75 years, are proud to announce the launch of our refreshed brand and website as part of our ongoing commitment to elevating the member experience. #CCA75 https://t.co/TENmLTzVgM

“I’ll always be a Calgary Stampeder fan. I’ve undergone a lot of change this year. In my job. My life. And I’m good with it. I just want them to seal the deal. It’ll always be: Go Stamps!”

I’m voting #YesForCalgary because this is an extraordinary deal for our city. For $390 million from Calgary, we would see over $4 billion invested here. I’m voting yes because I believe #YYC can host the cleanest, most cost effective games in history. Let’s dream big and vote yes
Hosting the Games will attract $4.4B in investment for Calgary:
• $700M from the Province.
• $2.23B from ticket sales, licensing, sponsorship, IOC and more.
• $1.45B from the Federal Government.
We receive this investment only if we host the 2026 Games. #Calgary2026
Hosting the 2026 Games means for $390M from Calgary, we get in return: $4.4B into our local economy, $1B in wages for Calgarians, 15,400 jobs and more. This is a good deal for #yyc! Learn more here: https://t.co/WS3ZjU2dIw #Calgary2026
