It's time for me to *gulp* document all the bugs / areas that need polishing 🫣. I've been pushing it off for a while because I know just how much needs to be fixed and I want to pretend they simply don't exist akhfgjj
Recently I decided to integrate Figma into my game dev workflow for more than just my button UI. For my polaroid-style checklist, I found it much easier to crop the object images into a polaroid template! Much faster than doing it within the engine.

I just realized that all of my art assets for my game demo are 4K sized but scaled down in-engine which was the cause of the weird pixelation. I’m glad I learned this while it’s still manageable to replace them with the sized down versions 😅
This year is moving fast and there are many tasks that occupy the forefront of my mind 🤔.
On the bright side, I finally got to learn Godot during the month of March and I feel more comfortable with its node-based workflow and managing my Godot project with git! 🌸

@chattercap Ah that’s fair, it could mean more wrestling with the engine to find a good way to achieve the same results. I haven’t looked into it too much but I think Godot also has some vn frameworks available? Though I don’t know how it compares to naninovel/etc
I’ll go back to the project page later to add a more detailed description of what I envisioned when making this game, as well as include the name of the royalty free soundtrack attribution. For now, I think I deserve a break 🥳
Due to time constraints and game engine issues, I had to switch last minute to Ren’py and was not able to implement a motion comic- but the poetry part is very present!
