Finished Training Camp by @JonGordon11 today. Started it last night. Great book. I do not read enough books, but I've read The Energy Bus, Soup and Training Camp all within the last year. Very happy I did.
That wraps things up for today. Thanks @TeachCarino for making a special appearance and @josh_barwin for co-hosting. Have a great weekend everyone!

@teachcarino I agree! We focus on 4 main questions:
1. What do we want kids to know?
2. How will we know if they learned it?
3. What will we do if they didn't learn it.
4. What will we do if they already know it. #PLCchat
Danielle Yoder has been hired as the new principal of Easterly Parkway Elementary. Yoder comes to SCASD from the Penns Valley Area School District, where she had been the principal of Penns Valley Elementary and Intermediate since 2015. @EasterlyParkway https://t.co/zTTnNVHZai
@LDchat @MrsKLynchDMS I agree with you that extended time would be the most beneficial for that particular type of learner. Actually, the most effective accommodation for most of my students tends to be the extended time.
#LDchat Parents and teachers face many challenges when dealing with students and dyslexia. One unique challenge would be how it impacts that student's social confidence.
@howiebiz @jennyktechin The district I work in is trying this next year. We are pushing the high school start time back about 45 minutes. This, of course, leads to a later dismissal time in the afternoon as well. I will have a better idea if any positive effects stem from this next school year.
#ASEChat A3: First person case studies would probably be what my students prefer. There is a sense of "this is real" and "we should pay attention". My fear with the animation is it just wouldn't be taken as seriously.
