Worked for a year in one of the acctg firms along Ayala. Felt disposable, was severely underpaid, and lost my passion as an accountant. Took it as a sign to take up law school. Just passed the bar and I'm now the happiest I've ever been with my current work.

It's never too late.

Iba pala talaga learning curve sa actual practice.

In my sponge-lawyer phase. Absorb lang nang absorb.

Drafting pleadings, doing court observation, attending seminars, learning from mistakes, mastering the craft, absorbing all advice.

Collecting what matters most as a new lawyer --- mentorship, feedback, growth and connections.

It's okay to be undecided sa path this early on into our careers --- whether mag-aapply sa law firm para mag private practice later on, or mag-aapply sa government para maging judge in the long run. Ang mahalaga matututo at eenjoyin ang journey along the way.

I don't see the problem here especially if the generosity is from one's own pocket. Being generous and disgusting do not go hand in hand, unless when made from a point of envy.

He is the same Nilo Divina who is infamously disgustingly generous to his students inside and outside of UST Law. For example, he would send UST graduates or bar passers to an all expenses paid vacation to Boracay or Balesin!
