Makes sense, right? In a world where record numbers of employees are working remote, let's cut budgets on the one thing that could possibly help keep us safe.

Quick question, do we l agree Intelligence Analyst have a role to play in cyber security? If so, what's keeping you from letting one do more than powerpoints?
Definitely suffered from a similar misconception. As an intelligence analyst in cyber, I was always told Security Clearance = more money. Imagine my sheer surprise, when much to delight, I discovered it was all bull crap.
When I was separating from active duty, people told me I wouldn't make as much, to try to get me to stay. My first offers were all six figures. I don't have a bachelor's degree, I *did* have a few years of experience and some certs. Not bragging, etc, just sharing information. 🖤
