With the easing of COVID restrictions in Wales from 7th August, Barfive, will,wherever possible, continue with Table service. Our preference is to keep the bar area clear and for bookings to continue. We think that these measures will make for a safer and more enjoyable time

Today is the 80th anniversary of the sinking of the Fishguard-Rosslare ferry St Patrick. The vessel sank within five minutes of being bombed by the German Luftwaffe. 30 passengers and crew members lost their lives. A tragic event in local history which affected the lives of many.

Scaffolding down this evening with the painter back in the morning to finish the exterior refurb of Barfive.

Work continues on Barfive. Did not intend to leave it until just before a planned reopening on the terrace, but have waited months for the scaffolders. In fairness scaffolding is much in demand in North Pembs.
