@DimitrisSoudas@chriswarkentin I did & simply don't agree w/ this sentence given today's media environment. "It has always been the case that the mainstream media has generally leaned more liberal than conservative." Today the full political spectrum is represented. Cons should deal w/ issues more & whine less
@SophieShipton_ This is pretty much what he's been the last few years, a high 3 ERA pitcher. He was a little lucky on ERA last year and a little unlucky this year. He's a solid starter but no longer an Ace and that's still a very good value!
@DimitrisSoudas@chriswarkentin That's BS - National Post & all Postmedia (Toronto Sun, Calgary (both), Vancouver (both), etc) tilt slightly to fully right-centre. CBC is fully left of centre but both Global and CTV do a good job of providing a balanced viewpoint. Stop acting like victims, it's weak sauce....
@dubsndoo Wtf are you baffled about? Y'all want to make it a conspiracy when the answer is the simplest one possible. He's in freefall in the polls and that is newsworthy. This is pretty much the same thing that happened to every failed leader - Ignatieff, Dion, Singh, Clark, Turner....
@stphnmaher Strongly disagree. The Senate is an institution badly in need of more people with an understanding of the legislative process & with a political point of view. And, frankly, the current system was anything but "non-partisan" more like exclusionary to certain political viewpoints.
@brianlilley Even if what you said was accurate (it's not), this runs counter to the advice FIFA gave teams, has not been done for fouls that were less severe and was done at the last moment without allowing Belgium time to prepare. It's just ridiculous and corrupt.
@Prominent_Bryan Utter BS. Thereโs a reason that FIFA hasnโt done this for any other red cards including those less severe than Balogunโs. Because it runs counter to everything theyโve said before. FIFA is the most corrupt organization in the world and this is just further proof.
