Happy New Year and welcome back!
We're excited to kick off another fantastic year ahead, and we trust you enjoyed a wonderful festive break. Here's to a successful year together!
From all the team at Positive Regard
We are thrilled to be speaking at this event, where we will be discussing the 'Importance of Relationships within Education'.

Finishing off term one doing what I love. Delivering a Practitioner Programme with staff from Norton Free C of E Primary School. Thanks for having me and a very merry Christmas 🎄
@PosRegard Not the longest tradition, but I have embraced 'jolabokaflod' which is an Icelandic tradition of gifting books, cosying up and reading into the evening. It really puts me in the Christmas spirit 😁
Edition 13 of #DifferenceMakers is now live! 🥳📣
This magazine is full to the brim of inspiring, innovative and transformational stories from all across our Trust. Enjoy the read!

My WFH Wednesday buddies. Firstly we have Roy, a permanent fixture in the Barham household. A lunchtime visit to see the goodest boys Benji & Teddy, and a garden guest whose name I don't know but have nicknamed Calico!
Ryan & Rebecca have had a great start to the week with staff from the Oasis trust this evening. Thanks for having us @OAWatermead@hallsworth_ryan@Barham_Bee
@PosRegard "Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're probably right."
It's a Henry Ford quote, but was passed to me as a pearl of wisdom from my very wonderful English teacher in secondary school. And has stuck with me ever since. 💕
This is going to be top. Free event, with presentations from people across the trust, including our very own Jim!

Rebecca has spent the early evening with staff from primary schools in Barnsley at Worsborough Common Primary School. Here they are working on their 'toolboxes' of de-escalation strategies @Barham_Bee#PositiveRegard#RelationalPractice
We're super excited to introduce you to Bridget.🎉 Affectionately called the 'Limbic Whisperer' within the team, Bridget has an amazing talent for connecting with and supporting young people. Plus, she's all about helping staff members learn to do the same! 😊 @BridgetR0dgers
Rebecca has had a lovely afternoon delivering the final Twilight Session with staff from @EborAcademy , this time focusing on Therapeutic Language. #PositiveRegard#RelationalPractice
@PosRegard On a more general scale, I also try not to let my social calendar become too full. Keeping free days or even full weekends means I can be at my best when I do make time to see people. Rest is just as important as activity.
@PosRegard For me, reading really settles my mind. I make time every day to read. Even if it's just a few pages before bed. I also try and get outside and have a little walk either during a lunchtime or when I get home. Always helps me feel better. 💕
When you visit a school and know that Relational Practice is already embedded. Lovely to spot @pauldixtweets topping the recommended reading. @ShaftonPA 💕
