Mr. Fred a dedicated primary school teacher, has played an important role in promoting the barkcloth product making program. Beyond his teaching duties, he encouraged young people to take interest in this traditional craft as a way of creating economic opportunities.

Namukisa Milly a fashion designer based in Kyamukama, dedicated her skills & passion to training a number of young trainees in the field of barkcloth fashion & design. Through her guidance, the trainees have acquired hands-on skills in tailoring, creativity & garment finishing

Mr. Mukiibi Paul encouraged trainees to view barkcloth not only as a heritage craft but also as an economic opportunity. By the end of the program, the workshop had produced various samples of high-quality barkcloth items such as bedcovers, cultural wear etc.
