Few thoughts after watching a bit of Lammens today.

- Keeps quite a neutral body position as late as he can, doesn’t shift body weight and sell himself too often.

- Good use of his legs when saving.

- Good intention when closing down attackers but doesn’t impose himself too well (make himself too much bigger).

- Confidence in possession, progressive intentions, trusts himself under pressure. Varied in pass types, suits short build up but also going direct.

- Inconsistency in the effectiveness of his parries (distance + area).

- Sometimes mistimed when coming for crosses.

🚨🆕 There were talks, and Barcelona had the idea of signing Mio #Backhaus in the summer and loaning him out to develop him. However, Backhaus will not be joining #Barca.

The talented 20-y/o number two at Werder Bremen wants to become a number one in the summer. Ideally at Bremen or elsewhere. A transfer is possible, and enquiries have already been made. Brighton was interested last summer. FC Copenhagen this winter.

United aren't that good and we all know it, but I do think it's easy to overreact to losing on penalties to a top half PL side in a cup. This stuff happens. 5 of the big 6 are out already. United have also had horrible draws this season

Conveniently leaves out that one week ago everyone decided left 10 was Kobbie’s new position. Bruno has played most of his time there. Eriksen can’t play anywhere but there. Mount is still to come back and can play there. That will have to do for now.

Fully aware times are tough at the moment but see some logic. United could buy Erling Haaland and he’d barely get a goal in this team. United barely create chances for forwards so fix that first.

Wing backs are the BIGGEST issue. Turning a back 5 into a front 5. They’ve signed one. They’re after another for the summer. The days of dopamine panic buys are over.

I’d love instant fixes but it’s just not realistic. Adjust your expectations and buckle up because it’s not the fault of the people making decisions today that this mess has happened. They’re the ones trying to fix it.

The prospect of relegation is ridiculous & over the top, but the delight in which some have piled on with this kind of scare mongering isn't exactly a shock.

Tottenham are 2 points ahead, but they aren't Manchester United so won't have this written about them. If you play so poorly, this is what you open yourself up to - getting feasted on by opportunistic bottom feeders.

Only the old guard will understand this concept. Some of the replies will tell you who the younger generation is and their uneducated attitude. It goes back to the very beginning. You do not under any circumstances boo a player or a manager. End of.
