“Since re-establishing our republic and restoring functional governance, we have moved away from the path of begging. We now say to the world: let us cooperate.”
President Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal (1993–2002), Somaliland
Below is the statement by Halima Ismail, the former electoral commissioner of Somalia, following her departure from the Heritage conference today.
“Yes, it's true that I did leave the conference when the prime minister took the stage. My instincts wouldn’t allow me to listen to someone in a position of prime minister who had not only threatened my life but had also stated, "I will shoot you in the head if you come to Kismayo." How could I sit there, applaud, and wait for someone who has made such a statement? My heart simply cannot accept that. I am not suffering from Stockholm Syndrome; I am a Somali woman dedicated to the interests of my fellow Somalis. Here is a man—confident and proud—who feels no hesitation in declaring that he would kill me, yet stands before me expecting my attention. That does not sit well with me, and he is unworthy of being the prime minister.
[Interruptions by the journalists]: Commissioner, did he apologise to you about that? No, I have not received any satisfactory apology. “
The speaker proud light inside Villa Somalia threatens suicide bombings in Somaliland (Hargeisa and Berbera) and attacks against the United States and Israel, using extremist and violent language that I will kill and Slaughtering them.
In 1988, over 70 percent of Hargeisa was reduced to rubble.
A UN inter-agency assessment mission, dispatched by Secretary-General Javier Pérez de Cuéllar, concluded that billions of dollars from the international community would be needed to rebuild Somaliland.
But the international community never came.
Undeterred, the people of Somaliland came together, pooling their own resources, labor, and determination to rebuild their nation from the ground up.
The Republic of Somaliland stands as a unique example in Africa as a powerful story of self-reliance, resilience, and grassroots reconstruction.
Fuc*k you @UN, fu*k you globalists, fu*ck you Somalians, fuc* you Egypt
Today the people of Somaliland made it to the promised land
This is the equivalent to what the German army did to the Warsaw Ghetto and then the whole of Warsaw. Collective punishment and mass destruction led to the Nuremberg Trials. They need to be staged again for today's war criminals.
China is testing a vacuum high-speed train that can travel over 1,000 km/h.
This ultra-fast vacuum tube magnetic levitation system could reduce the travel time between Shanghai and Hangzhou (distance: 200 km) to just 9 minutes.
From the dialectic of Plato in Greece to Hegel in Germany, Yin and Yang of Chinese Taoism, American imperialism, to the devious manipulation of globalists.
Four pivotal philosophies of geopolitics.
My daily thought:
@nura_ayn Nura, when do you become Somalilander again? Last time I was around here you were advocating Somali-weyn and against Somaliland ? Did I miss something?
