The fact that some folks are against a national school food program (e.g., replies like "Why do we have to feed other people's kids") is VERY telling of how nonsensical, cruel and predatory our excessively capitalist society has become. This is the right thing to do, full stop.

I have to confess I have a very visceral reaction seeing lawn signs up supporting the local Doug Ford MPP.
It’s like those lawn owners got a license plate cheque for a couple hundred bucks a few weeks ago and decided that was fair compensation for those 4000+ Seniors.
