@vhartsw@CurrieLorraine@CMO_England But the Court of Protection seems to nearly always insist that a psychiatrist undertakes a capacity assessment in 21A proceedings
@TheSmallPlaces@LizBarkerLords I spoke to a home @ W/e at breaking point. Staffs &residents with C-19. Told they will only test x3 residents & to treat rest as +ve. We’re not getting the right figures
@TheSmallPlaces I had a conference place booked next week which has just cancelled. I suspect many such events will follow suit until we have a clearer picture of how this is going to impact. Many attendees are required to work in health and social care so risk shouldn’t be taken
@TheSmallPlaces@BBCPanorama From what I saw the perpetrators of this abuse knew exactly what they were doing. It wasn’t down to ignorance or lack of training. These people should not be allowed near any vulnerable people. Wasn’t there qualified nurses working there?
Interesting!! The government's response to @HumanRightsCtte seems to commit it to undertaking a review of whether LPS appeals should go to a tribunal or the COP! Will there be a consultation I wonder, or just an internal review? (Note also 'a tribunal', not 'the'...)
