It is unforgivable what politicians have done to this country. They are backing people into a corner and it will not end well.
People will rise up and when they do, they will be severely punished and their lives further ruined.
This is all on the political elite. It is shameful.
It makes me angry, sad and desperately worried for the future😔
None of Graham Hick’s six Test hundreds were as famous as the one he never made.
On 98 in the Sydney Ashes Test of 1995, Hick was stranded when Mike Atherton declared. With only a couple of minutes left before the 3pm deadline, Hick inexplicably blocked out the final three balls of a Damien Fleming over.
Atherton lost patience and declared ungenerously. Hick never went on to score an Ashes hundred, and it was said he didn’t speak to England coach Keith Fletcher for a month afterwards.
@JohnSunCricket Disgraceful decision and the ECB are just as culpable in agreeing to it. May as well organise have a back up T20 when it finishes in 3 days to celebrate the occasion. Clowns.
@Harry05Derham@RacingHOTSR Devastated for you and the team. Was at Kempton and watched you rush to get to your stricken horse , that’s not always the case with trainers and I respect you enormously for doing so.
Great interview Michael, congratulations on the Richies journey. You will be missed by all your mates in the Barmy Army - we’ve had great fun together.

@racingblogger@JOEdotie@thepaddockuk@olibellracing@RishiPersad1@nickluck Great interview. For context, the Barmy Army did this for cricket in Australia 30 years ago and our content creation reaches 2million with a global brand so something for you to aspire to. The parallels are uncanny with the lack of support at home - we’ve been trying for 30 yrs!
@JohnWathenBerry@NewcastleRaces@GinaMangan7 Brilliant! Followed Merrijig all year and made up to see he has won. Now in Perth for my 8th Ashes campaign and the win buys a few drinks later ltoday!! Had to take SP as backed before I flew over. Well done to all at BHP!
