@readyornawt@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ What are you arguing for? You clearly disagree which is fine but you arent making any arguments let alone anything thats going to change peoples minds. If it turns out the event has a shit ton of drop outs because people signed up for items thats objectively a massive failure
@readyornawt@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ It will clearly impact the optcg game, its the commercial team within Bandai responsibility to make sure they are getting ahead of these issues and also maximising the money they are making not just being ok with doing well as with any company
@readyornawt@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ You havent made any actual arguments in the last 3 comments, there is clearly an issue here for both collectors getting product and players getting tickets to events im glad you arent having any issues but there are clearly some. Bandai dont need to do something but
@readyornawt@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ None of the issues they have are new problems exclusive to them, these things have been figured out in manufacturing and supply chain especially on products way more important than trading cards like pharmaceuticals or surgical equipment etc etc
@readyornawt@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ You dont have some inside scoop, we all know how they do it, they are just bad at it. And thats not how they deal with the premium and exclusive products. How they currently do it is somewhat irrelevant anyway as I am pointing out the issue they have a ton of ways they can pivot
@readyornawt@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ There is also an issue with core line stock like op16 and st30 at least here in the UK and more stock is needed for that you can’t have your current latest meta be out of stock and people unable to deck build, i have no issue with them not reprinting and supporting older products
@readyornawt@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ Sure but we are talking about event exclusive items which is causing an issue with heavy scalping which turns collectors away and because of how these items are obtained also making it so players cannot get tickets for events both arent good for the longevity of the product
@readyornawt@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ Doing 2 batches is a logistical nightmare? Not to be rude but thats sort of the bare minimum in a company that manufactures something. How they do that is up to them, maybe that is an additional factory but we don’t know at what capacity their current factory is at
@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ Then if there is more stock you dont need to worry about preordering the ‘exclusive items’ via the ticket system and allow spectators to also purchase and have other stuff not just the competition for attendees, also junior events, learn to plays etc
@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ Firstly i dont think event exclusives are a good idea like i said treat them like premium bandai products have an initial stock that launches at the event and assume most people in attendance want one then sell the rest online with a preorder for second wave available thats MTO
@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ At least not in the UK, its basically impossible to get any sealed product right now here and most places including bandai stores are very limited amounts when you do find it
@OrangeSamuraiD@mayraop_ I cannot without having the data that bandai have but for a start limited time products like the premium bandai products could easily have an initial stock and a made to order window, why not extend that to event exclusive items? Not like stock of core lines ie op16 is good atm
@dogburn55@Dreamers_TCG Just don’t do anything exclusive, make it so that anything for bandai card fest is also just available on an online store for pre order and manufacture to the no. Of orders
