#BREAKING | A division of NY State Supreme Court vacated the first-degree murder conviction of Jonaiki Martinez-Estrella, the Bronx man who was caught on video inflicting the lethal neck wound that killed 15-year-old Lesandro #Junior Guzman-Feliz back in June 2018.
@PIX11News Yes it is disgusting and we the people of New York City needs to one term every politician who promised to fight crime and they did nothing but accommodate it these criminals have more rights than the victims we need someone to fight for us and keep these criminals behind bars
The court ruled Martinez-Estrella must now be re-sentenced under second-degree murder. He had been sentenced to life without parole on the first-degree murder conviction, which involved an element of “torture.” The appellate judges disagreed with that element in the case.
“The defendants have admitted stealing taxpayer funds by collecting their full salaries while falsely claiming they were too sick to work,” said U.S. Attorney Breon Peace.
