As we just had our first meeting of #2023 this week, we must say a big #ThankYou to our friends @bullsheadsw13 for hosting us every month (for the last few years) and for all their hospitality and #wine π·@surryfedwi #Barnes
In July, on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year, we had a stall at the always popular #Barnes Fair. We had a great time and sold plenty of cakes and jam! #2022review@surreyfedwi@BCA4Barnes
Back in #November last year, we had a really nice evening with a local skincare and make up expert, who gave us lots of tips to get made up and highlight our features! Thanks to (formerly) @KissnMakeupTW1@surreyfedwi#makeupartist
#Barnes WI hopes everyone had a wonderful Christmas and festive period.
(Unfortunately our planned 12 months of #Barnes WI has been delayed due to illness but we will still be sharing some highlights of #2022 with you!) #2022review@BCA4Barnes@LBRUT
Today marks the beginning of 16 days of activism to end gender-based violence.
Over the next 16 days, we will outline some important actions that you can take on this campaign. Keep an eye on social media to see how you can support.

What kind of future do you want for your loved ones? Our hopes and dreams for the next generation rely on the government following through on its promises to protect nature and cut emissions. Take part in the #GreatBigGreenWeek and ask our leaders to act now.
We're back! Looking forward to our meeting tomorrow (Monday 5th) about 'Our World'

Our April speaker had to cancel: Sarah Slater from @HampCourtPal stepped in to talk about the βSecrets, Sex, Scandal and Salacious Gossip of the Royal Court, 1660 to 1830β, telling us tales of all the naughty bits of history we would probably not have learnt about at school!!
Happy #InternationalWomensDay2022! The WI has been celebrating womenβs voices and achievements for over 106 years, campaigning to ensure women are equally represented in public life and calling for an end to the discrimination that women face in their daily lives. #BreakTheBias
We are absolutely delighted to welcome Anja de Jager and @victoria_dowd to our #March2022 meeting. They will be talking about their lives as crime writers.
