@GustafsonBrad We start ever day with Rise & Read - 15 min. of choice reading time school-wide. It’s sacred. It sets the tone for the day: we are all readers. Those 15 min. could be dispersed to Readers or Writers Workshop, but R&R lays the foundation of our school as a community of readers.
