What a year its been!

What we've done this year has never been done before.

Over the last 18 months we have worked closely with Mablethorpe RNLI.

On the 9th of August the station will be hosting an open day. During the day there will be a mixture of stalls and games as well as a double boat launch.

Some lucky year 7 students had the opportunity to visit Mablethorpe RNLI station last week.

They had the chance to view both inshore lifeboats, all PPE, as well as rope work, chart work and a special visit from Helm Thomas Freeman.

Tomorrow we welcome Mablethorpe RNLI to BWA.

Our year 7s will be working with the crew during the afternoon; as well as all years will have the chance to compete at a inter house throw bag competition.

Great week last week for BWA Sports,

Rounders, Athletics, Boccia and Bowls,

Big shout out to the BWA Y9athletics team who came 2nd in their leg of the HAW cup. The year 9's earnt enough points in their leg to ensure BWA became back to back HAW champions.

BWA Swimming team has now completed their pre summer cup training sessions.

All swimmers have worked incredible hard over all the sessions.

Some great opportunities for BWA students. We have been to the student charter rewards trip at Nottingham last week.

Last night the athletics team travelled to Boston to compete in the Summer cup time trials.
